One of the causes of uneven tire wear is a difference in weight on the front and rear tires. The front tires typically bear more weight and therefore wear out faster. The front tire’s outer edge also gets worn out faster during turns. Other reasons for uneven wear may be improper inflation, misalignment, improper balance, or faulty suspension.
